The Centre of Counselling for Migrants of “Arbeit und Leben e. V” provides free of charge assistance to citizens of all nationalities regardless their trade union membership. The Centre of Counselling for Migrants is supported by the Berlin Senate Department of Labour, Integration and Women.
Beneth German the team provides consultations in Turkish, Polish, Russian, Greek, Kurdish, Arabic, French and English.
The team provides assistance to citizens of all nationalities in relation to:
- Social law
- Labour law
- Immigration law
Subjects that the team provides advice in includes:
• Employment contracts, fair pay, redundancy, holiday entitlements and compensation regulations
• Unemployment (unemployment and welfare benefits)
• Basic welfare benefits
• Pensions (German and foreign)
• Medical and nursing care insurance
• Child and parental benefits, housing subsidy
• Residence and work permits
• German naturalisation
